Playing Christmas Songs After Christmas

snow scene

Even though Christmas Day has come and gone, I believe Christmas songs should still be playing on the radio and in stores.  The Christmas season lasts until New Year’s Day.  The cut off from playing Christmas songs seems so abrupt since people are still visiting each other and exchanging gifts.

Besides, some so called Christmas songs are also winter songs such as

  1. “A Marshmallow World”
  2. “Sleigh Ride”
  3. “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”
  4. “Let It Snow, Let it Snow, Let It Snow”
  5. “Winter Wonderland”

Guitar Train passengers, do you think Christmas songs should continue to be played after Christmas Day has passed?  Why or why not?

Quirky T wishes all Guitar Train passengers a very Happy New Year.  Get your ticket ready to hop aboard The Guitar Train next month for Music Video Month.
